Temporary road closure of Pigot Lane

Norfolk County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order affecting Pigot Lane from 660 metres northeast of its junction with Long Road for 100 metres north-eastwards in the Parish of Framingham Pigot to facilitate district meter replacement and bypass fitting works, the Road will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) for the duration of the works/period the closure is necessary which is anticipated to be from 15th to 19th December 2025, but may continue to be closed/restricted until the 30th January 2026 where the closure is still required beyond the anticipated dates.
Alternative route is via: Fox Road, A146 Loddon Road, B1332 Bungay Road, B1332 Norwich Road, Long Road, Pigot Lane (Framingham Pigot, Poringland, Framingham Earl, Kirby Bedon, Caistor St. Edmund and Bixley).
